While I installed OvBB, one of the first things I noticed was the lack of a setup style. The installation is really bad. You need to add the database settings yourself in the configuration file. No password confirmation etc.. I personally like old school layouts, but I don't like this one. It looks like it's from the 80's. At some places they're user friendly but some places could use some extra information. The user control panel could use a revamp, but that's just me. The skin is easily editable in the admin panel and it's really simple to use. Although I would personally change the navigation bar. It's good custimizable. When you're good in styling templates or if you just don't care, this software should be fine. It's usable though.

    Installation: 2/10
    User friendly: 7/10
    Design: 3/10
    Administration: 8/10
Total: 5 (Sorry if this is calculated wrong, I'm not good in maths)

    I was gonna say that!

For a self hosted forum platform, it looks pretty bad :( I mean, honestly they can't compete the top three free forums with their current setup.. Not at all!

    BTWm great job here!

    Thanks :)

Indeed, it's design is ugly. Sometimes I likes Old School layouts (that's why I use YSE classic if I use SMF 1.1), but this one is just disgusting :p
