It seems that my Google Gmail account has been compromised. When I logged in today, Google gave me a warning and told me the URL and location, seems to have come from the Netherlands.

Anyways, Google couldn't tell me what they used to access it and it seemed to happen 5 days ago. My password is pretty secure, although I use the same in a lot of places. Anyways, my account had saved Emails with passwords to hosting accounts and such.

I've so far managed to change password but I am wondering if I should trust this report. Because, Google didn't notify me before (it happened 5 days ago) and also, they didn't tell me what was used... Like through POP, IMAP, or browser...

But to be safe I've changed my Gmail password for now.

    Your thoughts on this?

I think you should quit using IE and go to Firefox. Those pop-up boogers with phoney alerts exploit the bejambers out of IE. And for Firefox add-ons I recommend NoScript, AdBlock, and Request Policy.
