Microsoft famous operating system Windows XP was first time introduced in October 2001 and was last updated as SP2 in august 2004. After the release of windows vista and due to its disappointment now Microsoft is going to give SP3 the final major upgrade of the XP operating system. The final version of Windows XP SP3 remains scheduled for delivery sometime in the first half of 2008, the company’s spokeswoman said. She also warned off casual users from trying the preview. “As this is a release candidate, we strongly encourage only those who are comfortable installing prerelease code to download Windows XP SP3,” she said. According to the white paper, the Download Center version of XP SP3 will weight in at about 580MB; the version downloaded and installed via Windows Update, will be much smaller, typically around 70MB.

Most of us are great lovers of music especially working on computer. At the same time people over the world are also eager to know new ways to earn money. So it will be really interesting news for music lovers that they can make money while listening the music with the help of Bizmo.Groove mobile the world’s largest digital download platformhas brought TheBizmo a media player. Idea of this mobile company is to make consumers and content owners as their business partners. TheBizmo describe its widget as “the music industry in a box”. TheBizmo is a fully functional media player which offers users the opportunity to discover and promote both users generated and mainstream media content, and in so doing, earn from their discovery and interests as they engage their friends and networks. TheBizmo works as it offers artists a genuine (and free) marketing tool, putting their content in the hands of the people who use and promote their content. TheBizmo puts them on a equal platform.

Although there exist many domains which are providing services for web applications yet peoples are finding some new solution. If you don’t want to set up, configure, and maintain a few extra servers just for hosting your media files, you can instead use Amazon S3. Amazon S3 is storage for the internet; it gives any developer access to the same highly scalable, reliable, fast, inexpensive data storage infrastructure that Amazon uses to run its own global network of web sites.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries is not a new concept for us. We use them in almost every electronics application including mobile phones, lights etc. but still if we don’t have power we are unable to use these batteries after they expire? So there must be some way so that even if electric power is not available we can use batteries. The solution comes from the sun, the largest energy source available to us. This battery pack can recharge batteries by drawing in the sun’s rays and applying the energy as power. The pack also hosts a USB port which allows all other portable devices to play exclusively from the solar power.

Wikipedia is a famous internet encyclopedia in which different people contribute. Wikipedia has compiled 2.1 million English-language articles as well as millions more in dozens of other languages. But now a strong competitor is raised as googlepedia an alternative proposed by Google. Idea behind googlepedia is basically that it will consist of material submitted by people who want to be identified as experts and possibly profit from their knowledge.

Google called its alternative as “knol” - the company’s shorthand for a “unit of knowledge”. “There are millions of people who possess useful knowledge that they would love to share, and there are billions of people who can benefit from it,” Ubi Manber, Google’s vice president of engineering, wrote in the company’s posting about the new service. “We believe that many do not share that knowledge today simply because it is not easy enough to do that”, he added.

Citizendium is other Internet encyclopedia launched earlier this year also insists on identifying the writers of its articles. Unlike Google, Citizendium relies on a collaborative editing process to verify the accuracy of its articles. Google, which is expected to earn more than $4 billion this year, also wants to make money off its encyclopedia. Although the resource will be available for free just like Google’s search engine, the company wants to place ads related to the topics covered on each page.
